The Real Estate Staging Association™ (RESA) Announces the Staging Industry Award Winners
Stockton, CA, February 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Real Estate Staging Association was formed to provide support to all professional real estate Stagers in North America. RESA has recognized Staging Professionals for their outstanding contributions and personal accomplishments to their industry.
The RESA Staging Realtor of the Year Award was given to Terrylynn Fisher of Diablo Realty in Concord, California. Terrylynn is a Broker and has been a Realtor for over 30 years in the Contra Costa area. Fisher has been staging here listings for over 18 years and understands the value in staging especially in the declining markets.
Sheron Cardin of Selma California was awarded the National Board Member of the Year award. Cardin has been an interior designer for over 30 years throughout the bay area, central valley and southern California. Cardin currently serves as the RESA National Vice President in addition to heading up How2Stage.com a great resource for Realtors and do it yourself homeowners.
“With well over 2500 votes cast these staging professional were selected by their peers as the RESA Staging Industry Award Recipients, our industry and RESA congratulates each person for their contributions to our industry” said, Shell Brodnax, President/CEO of RESA. Brodnax has been a long time contributor to the staging industry and provides business coaching and marketing support to professional stagers at the Staging Career Center in addition to being President and CEO for RESA.
Other winners were Kate Hart of Hart & Associates of Radnor PA, who was selected as RESA Professional Stager of the Year. Hart has trained over 1,000 professional stagers and Realtors how to stage and Hart also holds Staging Success Seminars for professional stagers wishing to perfect their vacant staging skills.
Bevin Googer of First Impressions Staging & Redesign of Summerville SC was selected as RESA Rookie Stager of the Year. Bevin has demonstrated outstanding skills in the following areas: Staging Design Skills, Business Skills and Ethics. Bevin has been in the staging industry less than 2 years.
Christine Rae of Certified Staging Professionals Ontario Canada was selected as RESA Staging Innovator of the Year. Christine is a professional who is taking proactive actions to further the industry and bring legitimacy to the profession and has been in the staging industry for close to a decade. Rae has trained thousands of professional home stagers in North America.
The RESA Leadership awards were also announced and the winners are:
Charlene Storozuk of Dezigner Digz in Burlington Ontario Canada is the Chapter President of the Year. Sharon Ahrens or SMART Stagers in Clermont, FL is the State President of the Year. Michelle Minch Moving Mountains Home Staging & Design in Pasadena, CA is the Regional Vice President of the Year.
