Medicare Supplement Association's First Ad Runs in Kiplinger Retirement Report
To create awareness for the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance's Find A Local Agent online directory, the trade group's first print ad campaign has been launched.
Los Angeles, CA, April 26, 2017 --(PR.com)-- The first national advertising effort targeting consumers on Medicare by the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance appears in the just published 2017 Kiplinger's Retirement Report.
"We wanted our first ad to be seen by thousands of American seniors on Medicare and this was the perfect outlet," states Jesse Slome, director of the Medigap trade group. The half-page ad calls attention to the organization's recently enhanced online directory where consumers can find local agents using a Zip Code look-up.
"Medicare is an essential part of retirement and our online directory is the only free, national resource that connects interested consumers with local insurance professionals," Slome adds. The Kiplinger's Retirement Report focuses on valuable information including retirement, Social Security, Medicare and long-term care planning.
"This is the first ad effort undertaken by the Association with the goal of generating heightened consumer awareness," Slome notes. "Medicare is a great program but understanding the options and choices can be confusing, People often want the opportunity to meet with someone local willing to educate first and sell second."
"Some 10,000 Americans turn age 65 every day and we're seeing significantly increased interest in Medicare insurance options," Slome notes. "We are pleased when consumers use the online directory to find local agents and tell us how pleased they are with the resource."
Based just outside of Los Angeles, the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance is a national organization that advocates for planning and supports insurance professionals who offer insurance and financial products to seniors.
