NorthPointe Resources Beautifies Homes Through Generous Donations from Community Partners
Zion, IL, April 27, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Thanks to the help of community partners, NorthPointe Resources was able to update the common areas of the 17 community homes where they provide support services for people with developmental disabilities. “We rely on our community partner’s donations and grants to help us furnish our community homes as well as the Killian Center. We are fortunate to have wonderful partnerships with Penny Mustard, Upscale Rummage Sale, Crate and Barrel, and BILTRITE Furniture, as well as the many families who support NorthPointe. All of the items that were donated are modern and in new or ‘like new condition,’” stated Dina Donohue-Chase, CEO, NorthPointe Resources. “Updating 17 homes was quite a task, and we couldn’t have done it without our supportive partners and families.”
“It is important that the homes we have in the community are up-to-date and furnished well. Now our residents and their guests can enjoy their meals in nicely furnished kitchens; the living rooms look fresh and current; and some of the homes even have beautiful leather furniture,” stated Kristen Hudrick, VP Vocational and Residential Services. “Everyone is so happy with the way their homes look and really appreciate the donations made by our community partners,” continued Hudrick.
“NorthPointe has a great mission and is very dedicated to the people they support. I am so happy I was able to help NorthPointe,” stated a community donor. “We like knowing our donations are helping our community and the people who live in it.”
“Some of the homes have kitchens that are more than thirty years old. With the grants we have received recently, we have been able to update five kitchens. We are now seeking additional grant funding so that we can move ahead and re-do the rest of the kitchens,” stated Deb Rabine, Director of Development.
