URBANSCAPE by Richard S. Chow Debuts at Gallery 417

Los Angeles, CA, May 01, 2017 --(PR.com)-- URBANSCAPE, the newest body of work by award-winning fine art photographer Richard S. Chow will be debuted at Gallery 417 from May 11 - June 6, 2017, with an opening reception on May 11 from 6 - 8 p.m.

This body of work explores lines, form and the interplay of light in urban structures. Produced in black and white these works are both a departure from, and a natural progression of the artist's earlier architectural bodies of work which made bold use of color. The technical precision which is a hallmark of Mr. Chow's work, is even more apparent in these new works.

"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to launch this new series in Gallery 417," said Mr. Chow. "The gallery, housed in the upscale Metro 417 building, provides the perfect environment to launch this series as it is both urban and modern in aesthetic. The clean lines of my work and the chic interior of the gallery complement each other well."

The artist reception, where the entire body of work can be seen will be May 11 from 6-8 p.m. In addition to light refreshments, there will be an opportunity to meet the artist who will also be signing his limited edition books.

Richard S. Chow is an award-winning fine art photographer based in Los Angeles, California. He has widely exhibited in solo and juried exhibits across the U.S. His work has been internationally published and is featured in several private and public collections including a recent acquisition by the American Hotel in Los Angeles. Richard is also represented by the following galleries - LA Art Association/Gallery 825, Gloria Delson Contemporary Arts, and Beyond The Lines Gallery.
