Collaboration is the "Write" Move for Teesside Copywriter
Local businesswoman Helen Shinner is celebrating the one year anniversary of her rebranded company, HS Copywriting, by calling for more collaboration between SMEs in Teesside.
Redcar, United Kingdom, May 02, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Helen, who founded her Redcar-based company following over a decade of experience in the marketing industry, is part of a growing wave of entrepreneurial self-starters in Teesside’s creative industry.
The Teesside University graduate originally started her business as HS Marketing in August 2015, with backing from the Princes Trust, before rebranding to become HS Copywriting in April 2016. Streamlining the business to focus on the most popular service has proved key to its ongoing success across a wide range of industries including commercial, construction, digital and healthcare.
Speaking on the need for SMEs to work closer together, Helen said, “The last year has really flown by! Making the decision to refocus the business has proved successful for me and I thoroughly believe that more opportunities for sharing services is the key to unlocking major growth.
“There are some fantastic SMEs and start-up businesses in our region and I think we’re putting Teesside on the map as a centre of creative excellence. The key now is to realise the potential of pooling our collective talents.
“Moving forward HS Copywriting would like to tender for larger contracts but, without the resources of a full-service agency, the only way to achieve that goal is through partnering. I’d love to see opportunities for small businesses and individuals, each bringing specialist knowledge and expertise, to come together to tender for contracts that could otherwise only be fulfilled by larger agencies.
“Everyone works under their own brand and has their own stable of clients but, by coming together for bigger projects, SMEs can truly compete with the big boys in a cost-effective way and produce some incredible results for clients in a range of industries.”
