Expansion of The Windmill Winery

Florence, AZ, May 03, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Local and state officials along with the development partners and their honored guests celebrated the ground breaking of the Cotton Gin & Inn at the Windmill Winery.

The Windmill Winery is expanding with the Inn, a 25 room boutique hotel, and the Cotton Gin, a historic and fully restored cotton gin blossomed into a 7, 000 square foot event venue. It is with great pride that we reveal that the architectural firm of famous Frank Lloyd Wright protégé, Vernon Swaback, designed this entire phase. Lead architect, Jeff Denzak, stated, “We do projects all over the world and are very selective with whom we choose to work with. This project is extremely special.”

Town of Florence Mayor Tara Walter broke ground with a horse drawn plow. Mayor Walter spoke about the impact this development will have on the community. Walter stated, “This is a significant project for the Florence community.”

Many local organizations, financial institutions and government leaders played a role in developing this project. Partners in the project include: Kevin Brooks, Harold Christ and John Shoecraft.

The Cotton Gin & Inn at the Windmill Winery is set to open in 2018.
