Denver's Newest Audi Dealership on the Denver-Boulder Turnpike
With a history of four decades in Boulder, Audi Boulder is expanding into Broomfield along the HWY 36 corridor.
Denver, CO, May 03, 2017 --(PR.com)-- With a history of four decades in the city of Boulder, the Audi Boulder dealership is expanding into Broomfield.
Construction is just months away from being complete on the 4.5-acre site near the intersection of Northwest Parkway and Via Varra, just north of Hwy 36 and the Flatiron Crossing Mall.
Audi Boulder vice president and general manager Ryan Watson characterized the new dealership as an expansion and “additional” site. He said that all new Audi sales will be handled in Broomfield. But He also made clear that Vancouver, Wash.-based Kuni Automotive, which owns Audi Boulder, is not leaving the Boulder site at 1799 Exposition Drive.
Watson anticipates the Broomfield dealership to open summer of 2017. The new dealership is dubbed Audi Flatirons and will be known as such moving forward. “We’ve had an absolute blast in Boulder, building relationships and watching as the business grows, but we’ve simply outgrown it,” said Watson.
The dealership has been in Boulder since 1973 when Adolf Stammler opened it as “Stammler Audi.” Kuni Automotive bought the dealership in 2013 when Stammler retired. It was renamed Audi Boulder at that time, and Watson, who grew up in Boulder and was the original General Sales manager, now General manager, was promoted to run the operation. He will oversee both the new Audi Flatirons site in Broomfield, along with the existing Boulder site.
Kuni, now an enterprise of Holman Automotive, has four other dealerships in Colorado, including a Lexus dealerships in Greenwood Village, a Honda dealership in Centennial and a Land Rover dealership in Littleton.
Watson said Audi Boulder employs 60 people. Some of those people will be moved to the Broomfield site, which is expected to employ 70 to 100 additional people, depending on how quickly the dealership grows, with some backfill hiring to occur in Boulder.
