Buildexpo Africa 2017: East Africa’s Largest Construction Show Now in Ethiopia
The first edition of Buildexpo Ethiopia is all set for a record run when it opens its doors from 12-14 May at the Millennium Hall, Addis Ababa with over 150 local and international exhibitors in attendance.
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, May 08, 2017 --(PR.com)-- After being the focal point of the building and construction industry in Kenya and Tanzania for the last nineteen years, Buildexpo now ventures into the booming market of Ethiopia.
Ethiopia has one of the fastest growing economies in the world and has been registering a double digit growth for the last twelve consecutive years. With infrastructure projects worth over $20 billion in the pipeline, the construction sector is expected to grow at an annual rate of 11.6% with an output of $3.2 billion, this year alone.
At Buildexpo Ethiopia 2017, trade visitors will have the opportunity to visit local and international exhibitors from over 22 countries showcasing the latest equipment, machinery and materials from the building and construction industry.
Some of the products on display at Buildexpo include mobile crushing plants from Henan Hongxing Machinery (China), fire fighting systems and water valves from Ziggiotto & C (Italy), land surveying and construction equipment from Geomax AG (Germany), wood panels and flooring by Vananchai Group (Thailand), plastic pipe systems and roofing products from Aliaxis (UK), bit and drilling rigs from Chang Shin International (Korea), pre engineered steel buildings and sandwich panels from Mammut Building Systems (UAE), PVC-CPVC pipes and fittings from Fabco Plastic Factory (Saudi Arabia) and solar water heating and energy solutions from Enviroenergy Solutions (Greece).
“We received many requests from our international clients to hold events in Ethiopia. On the occasion of our 20th anniversary we decided to venture into this promising market and the response has been very positive!” says Max Lewis, Director of Sales, Expogroup.
Buildexpo Ethiopia will have prominent industry experts, stakeholders and decision makers in attendance along with new product launches and features, making it an ideal event to source new products, network and usher in new contacts and business opportunities.
Delegates will also be able to attend a variety of B2B networking events, aimed at bringing together global suppliers and local dealers to build new professional relationships, strengthen existing ones and discuss the latest trends and products dominating the global construction market.
Buildexpo Africa is being organised by Expogroup, which has been organizing some of the largest international trade exhibitions in Africa. Since its inception 19 years ago, Expogroup has envisioned Buildexpo to evolve as one of the most awaited and eagerly participated building events in Africa. Through committed endeavour and a no-compromise attitude to service, the company has brought this vision to reality.
