Youthful Savings & Audacious Endeavors Inspire Social Change New Book Offers Education, Economic Empowerment to the Underserved
Already a Top 100 Best Seller in Education and Reference, Audacious Endeavors is a step-by-step guide on how to align your soul's mission with the new economy through socially conscious business practices.
New York, NY, May 10, 2017 --(PR.com)-- As Socrates once said, “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but building the new.” This is precisely the platform upon which Youthful Savings and Audacious Endeavors were built. These socially, economically, educationally and impact-driven businesses located in New York City and Southern California were created by 32-year-old social entrepreneur Somya Munjal. Her first book, Audacious Endeavors: Eight Steps to Light Your Inner Fire and Change the World Through Socially Conscious Business, was released over the weekend and already is a Top 100 Best Setter in Education and Reference. A conscious art gathering and book launch will be held May 20th in NYC.
“I created these socially conscious businesses to create change through education and economic empowerment,” said Munjal. “I believe economic empowerment and equality are the real change the world needs. I am a survivor of violence due to economic disparity, and that is why I keep going with my mission despite how uphill the battle is.”
In 2013, Munjal started Youthful Savings, an education technology company that empowers the next generation through financial education and entrepreneurship training via curriculum, technology and community. As Chief Youthful Servant of her organization, her intention is to empower youth, and disrupt the wealth gap through business and financial education.
Munjal’s book, Audacious Endeavors: Eight Steps to Light Your Inner Fire and Change the World Through Socially Conscious Business, is a step-by-step guide on how to align your soul's mission (inner artist) with the new economy through socially conscious business practices. The book serves as a manual for those who are young at heart and excited about creating change and opportunities for humanity.
Coast to coast, conscious art gatherings are scheduled to celebrate the release of her book. The New York City book launch is set for May 20th from 8pm to 11pm at 81 Hester Street in Manhattan. It will be an evening of art, music and socially conscious dialogue that aims to build community and action toward bettering the world. For an invitation to the event, email info@audaciousendeavors.com. Angela Viens and Kyle Stein will be the featured artists at the book launch. The artists partner with Audacious Endeavors to offer pieces to present at the conscious art gatherings. A percentage of all sales will go to Audacious Endeavors’ giving partners. Austin Cain will provide the music. CakesterNYC will provide the sweet treats.
A limited number of books will be available at the event. It can also be purchased on Amazon and http://www.audaciousendeavors.com, with 11 percent of proceeds going to the purchaser’s nonprofit of choice. Nonprofits are selected from a vetted group of giving partners. Munjal is dedicated to making sure this money goes to those who really need it.
In 2016, Munjal created Audacious Endeavors, which combines her talent as a CPA/ FINRA licensed financial advisor and her commitment to helping artists through financial management, tax and business consulting. Audacious Endeavors is a social change agency dedicated to solving the world’s most pressing issues through community, media and action while representing and promoting emerging artists who inspire the change that is needed in today’s society. Munjal appreciates that artists do business from their heart and soul, and Audacious Endeavors is there to offer education and support.
“I’m excited to see other socially conscious businesses launch and succeed from the fuel that we’re spreading – the kind of fuel that is good for the planet,” said Munjal.
