Ceasar and Chuy Back Another Round
Los Angeles, CA, February 11, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The animated duo of Ceasar and Chuy is set to star in a second season of one the most-talked-about comedic series’ of recent times. Ceasar and Chuy has won over their audience with their hilarious antics and unique points of view on the current world of music videos, politics, and life in general.
The series is produced by Overman Productions helmed by Alfonso Amey and Keu Reyes. “We put in a lot of hard work and time into Ceasar and Chuy and we are always looking for ways to make it better and better,” comments Reyes, who is also President of Artistic Warfare, another top content provider for television. “We are very excited and pleased with the great and overwhelming response of Ceasar and Chuy fans. They really keep us motivated to give them more of what they want,” elaborates Reyes.
Every week fans have grown to expect cutting edge animation that it’s the exclusive mark of animation producer Alfonso Amey, who also presides over Alfonso Amey Designs, Inc. – a multi-media animation company. “I try to add a new comedic element beyond the story with my interpretation of whatever point Ceasar and Chuy are trying to make,” says Amey regarding his art direction, “I try to give it a different twist and at the same time complement the characters’ perspective, while keeping it all visually interesting,” adds Amey.
Ceasar and Chuy’s loyal audience tunes in every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday on LATV at 6pm (9pm Est.) and repeating once more at 9pm (12pm Est.). Rick Najera, who is an Executive Producer and writer on the show as well as the voice “Chuy”, explains, “Striving for quality is what sets Ceasar and Chuy apart. We try to keep our core audience happy, while not alienating other potential watchers.”
“The second season of Ceasar and Chuy will be better than ever,” boats Reyes. “We’ve added a lot of great people to the production of Ceasar and Chuy including talented musician and audio engineer Ricardo Love, as well as a lot of great writers like David Lee Thomason and Demarco Allen,” continues Reyes.
The LATV Network has expanded in recent times and is currently executing a very aggressive plan to continue being the leader in content that it is not only relevant to Latinos, but to a much broader audience as well. According to an article by TVNEWSDAY, LATV is now in 18 markets and reaches nine million households, and if all goes well, the numbers will rise to 22 million total homes, by July of 2008, and 37 million total homes by the end of the year.
