Mark Beamish Waterproofing Nominated for the Orange County Business Journal 2017 Family-Owned Business Awards
This award recognizes Orange-County-based, family-owned companies that have distinguished themselves via their business accomplishments and contributions to the local community.
Anaheim, CA, May 10, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Mark Beamish Waterproofing is honored to announce their nomination for the Orange County Business Journal 2017 Family-Owned Business Awards.
Founded in a garage in 1981 by Mark Beamish, MBW cemented itself as the leader in commercial waterproofing and coating on the West Coast. His son, Adam, took over the reins as President in 2009 and during his tenure, has been successful in transitioning to second-generation management by achieving growth and profit during the recession, sustaining long-tenured employees (many with over 20 years of MBW experience), cultivating second-generation MBW employees, opening multiple offices to expand services to long time loyal customers and to increase the number of opportunities for employee growth, and completing large-scale jobs and winning awards, which is secondary to employee growth and opportunities.
Perhaps most importantly, his passion for community began when an employee’s child had Duchenne’s disease. It inspired Adam to create a committee that is passionate about giving back to the community in multiple ways, helping charity organizations and community centers.
MBW is proud to be nominated alongside so many other positive forces within Orange County.
