Ross C. Goodwin Recognized as a Professional of the Year by Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide Publication

Palm Bay, FL, May 16, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Ross C. Goodwin of Palm Bay, Florida has been recognized as a Professional of the Year for 2017 by Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide Edition for his outstanding contributions and achievements in the aerospace field.

About Ross C. Goodwin
Mr. Goodwin retired after 30 years in the aerospace industry. He was a Senior Aerospace Technician with United Space Alliance, which is an international space operations company that manages and conducts space operations work involving the operation and maintenance of multi-purpose space systems. He served as an aerospace and industrial diagnostic repair technician specializing in electrical/mechanical issues. Mr. Goodwin was responsible for launching shuttles with NASA, operating space shuttles from the cockpit on the ground at launch pads and hangars, cockpit displays, controls, switches, circuit breakers and final configuration before the astronauts arrived at launch pads for launch. He serviced all 5 space shuttle Orbiters and served as an electro-mechanical technician.

Mr. Goodwin was awarded an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Navy. He served 8 years working on nuclear submarines. He received the Silver Snoopy Award from NASA Astronauts, and the U.S. Naval Submarine Commanding Officer Commendation in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Mr. Goodwin obtained a Certificate in Industrial Electronics from Brevard Community College in 1983.

In his spare time, Mr. Goodwin enjoys working with computers.
