Skilled Motorcycle Riders Association Promotes Motorcycle Safety Through Training and Raises Funds for Motorcops for Kids; Benefitting Shriner's Hospitals for Children

The North Texas Motorcycle Challenge is a Rodeo and Skills Training event on September 28th – 30th, 2017 at the Pat Lobb Toyota of McKinney in Collin County, Texas.

McKinney, TX, May 17, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Hosted by Pat Lobb Toyota of McKinney and the Skilled Motorcycle Riders Association, the event will feature various motorcycle challenges that test a rider’s skill and ability. Prizes will be awarded to the best riders. The competition is open to all motorcycle riders. Divisions will include Active Motor Officers, Law Enforcement Officers not currently assigned to a Motors Unit, Civilian Expert, Civilian Advanced and for the first time this year, Civilian Novice. Motorcycles must as equipped from the factory and at least 1000cc.

Skills training will be provided to participants as a public service to promote motorcycle safety and the benefits of motorcycle training. With training and practice, civilian riders are capable of reaching the same skill and proficiency as motor law enforcement officers. The skills training offered is an effort to produce safer motorcycle riders on the highway.

September 28th will be a practice day with the competition taking place on September 29th and 30th. The registration fee is $80 per competitor. The proceeds will benefit MotorCops for Kids, raising funds for Shriner’s Hospitals of Galveston and Houston.
