Ragan Sutterfield Wins Independent Press Award for Book on Wendell Berry
Author and Episcopal priest Ragan Sutterfield has been recognized with an Independent Press Award for his book "Wendell Berry and the Given Life."

The Independent Press Awardcompetition has recognized Wendell Berry and the Given Life, written by Ragan Sutterfield and published by Franciscan Media, as a winner in the category of Environment.
Wendell Berry and the Given Life explores the Christian underpinnings of the writing and worldview of author and environmental activist Wendell Berry, offering Biblical parallels to the themes running through his stories, essays, and poems. Sutterfield traces a dozen such themes, offering a new and easily accessible way to view Berry’s work.
