Kids At Heart Photography Grants First Franchise in the Great State of Texas

Hamilton, NJ, February 11, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Troy and Sharon Manns, were recently awarded a Kids At Heart Photography franchise and will service Tarrant County, TX. “After selling our successful furniture store, we were looking for a family friendly business that would allow us to be of service to our community as well as provide a flexible schedule, fun and the ability to build a solid income. We found Kids At Heart and it fit the bill perfectly”, says Sharon Manns.

Kids At Heart Photography, Inc. is a nationwide school and youth photography, with 16 years of "capturing children's smiles.” Founded in 1991, Kids At Heart is the alternative to the typical "point & click" school and sports photographers. They have successfully photographed more than one million children.

Troy and Sharon Manns, reside in Arlington, TX with their daughter Connor (14) and son Ian (9). Troy has attended the University of Maryland, and Arlington Career Institute. Sharon graduated from Aims Academy of Hotel and Restaurant Management. The Manns have a diverse professional career, including Restaurant Management, Editorial Staff writer and Web editor. They have owned a Cleaning Service as well as a Furniture store. Troy and Sharon proudly served in the U.S. Air Force; Troy in Logistics Management, Sharon in Air Traffic Control.

Sharon and Troy have had great success in their careers and their family-owned businesses. However, their jobs and businesses required so much time that they had to sacrifice time with their family. “We both enjoy children and photography. We plan to grow our Kids At Heart franchise business to a level that will enable us to work together each day, as well as spend more time with our children,” says Troy.

Sharon and Troy are involved in the Tarrant County community. They actively support Mission Arlington, shelter for the homeless. They also support the Muscular Dystrophy and The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer fund raisers. They enjoy spending their free time with their children, traveling, scuba diving and both are big football fans.

Sharon & Troy are excited to be the principal franchisees in the State of Texas, especially within Tarrant County. “We are definitely a “family comes first” family. We will carry that philosophy over to our Kids At Heart business, providing the best photo experience to the schools and organizations in our community. Every child is special and we hope to capture that quality in photos for each family as a lasting reminder of the wondrous time that is childhood,” says Sharon.
