TeleConnect Senior Services, Inc. Announces the Launch of Their Virtual Assistance Service for Seniors
Seniors citizens who feel isolated, are frustrated with technology, or who just need someone to speak with, can now turn to a new nationwide virtual assistance service for seniors.
Bailey, CO, May 24, 2017 --(PR.com)-- In conjunction with National Older Americans Month, TeleConnect Senior Services, Inc. is proud to announce the launch of their new service, TeleConnect for Seniors.
TeleConnect operates a US-based call center offering monthly subscriptions to its customers, providing today’s senior citizens with someone to talk to day or night. In addition, TeleConnect provides their customers answers to general questions, conducts online research, offers technical support for computers and mobile devices, and even provides an appointment reminder and “wellness check” service.
Co-founded by a brother and sister, TeleConnect was created out of what they felt was a true necessity. “As our world has evolved into such a technologically driven society, where the basic form of communication has in many ways, been replaced by a series of characters typed on a mobile device, we were seeing first hand that we were leaving an entire generation of people behind,” says Michael Kessler, President and Co-Founder of TeleConnect. “There are just too many seniors that either live alone or in isolation, and others that just don’t have a social network or aren’t connected to family or friends via technology, who often just need to talk with someone,” he adds.
“Our parents were truly the impetus for creating the service. As my brother and I were working full time and raising our own children, we found that our parents needed more and more assistance with troubleshooting computer problems and needing help with online research, we couldn’t always help them as quickly as they wanted. We even noticed the increase in phone calls with them wanting to talk, and it’s difficult when you are not able to stop and just chat whenever they wanted,” says Judy Kessler Block, COO and Co-Founder. “We realized that there had to be other families who were experiencing the same issues, and figured we could provide that 'backup plan' for those families, while introducing their parents to the world of 24/7 virtual assistance,” she adds.
TeleConnect offers three different monthly subscription options starting at just $29.95, which includes unlimited toll free calls to their office, whether for customer assistance, research requests, or to just have a friendly conversation. TeleConnect can provide assistance with most requests that can be handled by telephone, although they do not provide assistance with legal or medical matters.
