Over 3,000 Social Entrepreneurs Sign Up to Global Impact Platform
Inventshift launch global social enterprise platform with over 3,000 businesses signing up in the first few months.
Helsinki, Finland, June 05, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Inventshift is a new online platform founded by Jarkko Oksanen and Iranthi Gomes that is a global resource for both suppliers and consumers of positive impact services.
They have interviewed over 35 global social entrepreneurs for the site, including Project Rockit, The Canvas Cafe and Plastic Whale. Inventshift have also built a global social enterprise directory, and already have over 3,000 businesses signed up to encourage conscious buying. For every booking completed through their marketplace, they donate 5% to their social good fund, called The Inventshift Fund.
Inventshift currently has over 1100 businesses in 20 cities around the world on the platform, and they're aiming for to be active in all countries around the world by 2022. They accept all kinds of businesses onto the platform; so everyone has the chance to contribute to a better society. For the first time, both suppliers and consumers don’t have to go the extra mile to do good - they can do so just with a click of a button - to sell and buy through Inventshift.
On Inventshift's marketplace you can book a range of services; including catering, photography, coffee carts and musicians. Any service-based business can apply to join the site, it’s absolutely free. As a consumer, if you’re looking to purchase services for an event you can book instantly or receive multiple quotes.
Inventshift are passionate about showcasing positive impact as they are also a social enterprise. Charities can apply to get financial support from our Inventshift Fund, and they have worked with some fantastic charities, such as Friends of Buburi, who help women in Kenya give birth safely, and RED International, who are improving literacy in rural Bangladesh.
