Stager Idol Staging Competition Voting Available to the Public

Stockton, CA, February 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) is very proud to announce the launch of the very first Stager Idol competition for Professional Home Stagers, the property merchandising arm of the Real Estate Industry. Public voting will take place from February 11th through the 17th. Visit the Stager Idol web site at www.StagerIdol.com and click How to Vote from the Menu.

The public voting will determine the Top Ten contestants. The Top Ten will move forward in the competition by submitting a staging project to the Celebrity Judges; Ann Maurice; the House Doctor, Stephanie McWilliams with the HGTV hit show Fun Shui, Margi Kyle of TV’s Desperate Designs. The Celebrity judges will review the staging projects and determine the Final Five contestants based on a points system. Those contestants will submit a second staging project to be judged. After review of those projects the judges will determine the final three contestants. Those contestants will have a phone interview with the judges and the winner will be determined by the total number of points received for both staging projects and the phone interview.

The winner of Stager Idol will receive, fame and cash and prizes totaling over $12,000.
