Beards, Bloody Marys and BBQ: Tiny Digs Hosting Father’s Day “Funday” Brunch

The Junebugs (thejunebugs.net), led by front man and beard enthusiast Moses Barrett, combine high-energy pop with Pacific Northwest folksy goodness to create a genre-bending sound you can kick up your heels to. Covering everything from Tom Petty to TLC to Lorde, the eclectic taste of the trio ranges from turn-of-the-century Americana to modern Hip Hop, with a strong emphasis on vocal harmony.
Wandering Spirits (wanderingspiritspdx.com) will be serving up amazing $5 Bloody Marys with garnish & brown-sugar bacon as well as mimosas, spiked coffee, beer and cider out of a converted 1970’s Shasta trailer. Two Chicks & A Rooster (tcrcatering.com) will cater breakfast items like cornbread French toast, acai bowls and their signature, mouth-watering BBQ.
Tiny Digs (tinydigshotel.com) is a hotel and event space, located in the hip Kerns neighborhood. Six themed tiny houses are snuggled together around a central guest hangout space. Chairs, couches, tables, fire pit, art, party tent, along with plenty of greenery and lights have turned a parking lot into an outdoor lounge. Priced at $165 for weekdays and $175 on weekends, each unit has a queen-sized bed, includes its own deck, mini-fridge, coffee & tea, light cooking options, and free WiFi.
