Great Place to Work® and Fortune Name Next College Student Athlete (NCSA) Among "Best Workplaces in Chicago"
Leading Athletic Recruiting Firm Recognized for Workplace Excellence
Chicago, IL, June 08, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Next College Student Athlete (NCSA), the largest and most successful collegiate athletic recruiting network that matches high school student-athletes with college coaches, has been recognized among the “Best Workplaces in Chicago” by Great Place to Work®, a research and consulting firm, and Fortune magazine.
“It’s incredible to be named to this prestigious list,” said Lisa Strasman, NCSA President. “The core of our business, helping student-athletes achieve success, motivates our team to be passionate about their work, which builds the amazing culture we have at NCSA.”
Companies were rated based on the Great Place to Work® Trust Index©, an employee survey, and the Culture Brief™, information provided by the companies. Companies are given ratings based on quality scores in six categories including challenges, atmosphere, rewards, pride, communication and bosses.
Among NCSA’s highest rankings based on employee responses were that work facilities contribute to a good working environment, employees can be themselves, coworkers care about each other and that there is a “family” or “team” feeling. Over nine in 10 co-workers at the winning companies, including NCSA, also expressed confidence in their leadership.
"There are many reasons people choose Chicago as a place to live and to grow businesses,” said Theresa E. Mintle, CEO of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce. “Among them are our talented and skilled workforce, and employers who value such workers highly and treat them accordingly. The ‘Best Workplaces in Chicago’ exemplify this. Our entire business community is proud of those being recognized.”
The 50 winning companies were recognized in two categories: 25 small and medium-sized companies, and 25 large-sized companies. NCSA was recognized in the small and medium-sized category.
