Automation Devices, Inc., a vibratory parts feeder manufacturer, is pleased to announce employees celebrating 50 and 60 years of service.
Erie, PA, June 08, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Automation Devices, Inc. (ADI), a vibratory feeder and part system components manufacturer, is pleased to announce the commemoration of two team members celebrating 50 and 60 years with the company. Denny Getz started his first day at ADI on November 28, 1967. Larry Smith, ADI’s CEO, celebrates 60 years. Getz joins two other long-time employees who have celebrated 50 years of service, while Smith is the longest standing employee in ADI history.
Getz has been instrumental in ADI’s VFC division as a feeder assembler. His responsibilities also include part maintenance and troubleshooting. Smith started with ADI at the age of 19 grinding bowl castings for 5 cents each. Throughout the years Smith has built a robust business that is not only a leader in the local community, but in the entire vibratory feeding industry.
As a reward for such dedicated service, each 50-year employee receives $5,000 on the anniversary of their date of hire. The loyalty and commitment of long time employees represents the stability and strength of Automation Devices and plays a vital role in giving customers consistent, high-quality products and services.
“We are tremendously fortunate to have such dedicated employees,” says ADI President Kevin Smith. “In today’s world it is not the norm to have employees that stay for an extended period of time, especially not for 50 years. The history of our Company as well as the longevity of our staff makes us stand out against our competitors. No where else in the industry will you find the experience and caliber of work that you find at ADI.” “Fifty and sixty year employees like Denny and Larry not only bring seasoned expertise to our products and services, but they also play a vital role in the development of our younger employees,” adds Smith.
