Summer Open House at the YMCA June 9 - 11
union, NJ, June 07, 2017 --(PR.com)-- The Gateway Family YMCA branches in Elizabeth, Rahway and Union, NJ will be hosting a Summer Open House June 9 -11th. YMCA branches will be hosting events that are open to the community including summer sports, games, swimming and family activities. The Gateway Family YMCA serves communities in Eastern Union County and Northern Middlesex County through five branches located in Elizabeth, Rahway and Union. The Gateway Family YMCA – Elizabeth Branch is located at 135 Madison Avenue in Elizabeth, Five Points Branch is located at 201 Tucker Avenue in Union, Rahway Branch is located at 1564 Irving Street in Rahway, and Wellness Center Branch is located at 1000 Galloping Hill Road, Union. Four locations will be open celebrating the Summer Open House and invite the public to visit for a tour, information or summer fun.

For over 116 years, The Gateway Family YMCA has served the local community, providing quality programs and services to all, including residential and emergency housing, a Diabetes Prevention Program, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA - a free program to support cancer survivors and Early Learning Readiness - a community program for preschool children and their caregivers providing school readiness tools and training. “In addition to many programs and services offered free to the community, the YMCA also provides Financial Assistance ensuring that everyone in need can benefit,” stated Melynda A. Mileski, EVP/COO.
Summer camp and summer program registration is ongoing at each branch and online at www.tgfymca.org/register with options including the arts, swimming lessons, yoga, group fitness, sports, gymnastics and more. Summer membership opportunities are also available at The Gateway Family YMCA for 1, 2 or 3 months throughout the summer months, allowing flexibility to busy families.
