Dr Eddy Kloprogge, a Dutch scientist, working for the Thanet Community Development Trust as a researcher, met Peter Gleeson, a gestalt psychologist, who was working with Professor Petruska Clarkson in London. Their mutual interest in the importance of healthy interpersonal relationships within organisations created Mind Gliding.
Mind Gliding provides management training that focuses on building and improving relationships and communications within organisations. Effective stress and change-management, as well as conflict resolution are all part of an extensive staff development portfolio of programmes.
Relationship:
Mind Gliding are business psychologists. Their programmes are tailor-made and directed to personal development within the managerial role. Based upon relationship, they open up the possibilities of development and growth beyond traditional management development training and learning.
Dr Kloprogge comments: “We realised that in areas of management development there is lack of material that highlights the significance of relationship and communication between people involved in corporate management. Consequently Mind Gliding has created programmes for leaders (Business Leadership Programme) and senior managers, like the Coaching Practice for Managers that look further than schooling, training and learning on how to become a good leader/manager.”
Peter Gleesen adds: “We often are approached by business organisations that have underlying ‘people’ problems that are not always easy to define. We like to work with the people in organisations and act as an accelerant towards a desired outcome, helping them to achieve their goals.”
