NZ Wine Navigator Provides Wines at "NZ Meets LA" Dinner at LA Food Bowl 2017

Tangaroa is a restaurant and fish market with a friendly neighborhood atmosphere, and in fact, there is always a steady stream of customers walking in the door just to buy the fresh seafood or orders to go. As the restaurant is so close to the ocean, you can order by phone, pick up a meal, and take it to the beach for sunset – very LA.
Tangaroa purchase their fish from a local downtown fish market to ensure the best of the best. When they purchase the fish, they have to ensure that the box is dated with the distribution date. They clean the fish daily in the restaurant, and the key person in the restaurant is Pedro: he stands up to his knowledge, and the owners trust him to use his knowledge of fish freshness to guarantee the quality of the restaurant. He knows the expectations of the customers in the neighborhood, holds the standards high and that he needs to deliver to carry on the great reputation of the restaurant which has been open for three years.
That Food Bowl event was the first formal dinner that Tangaroa restaurant has hosted, and hopefully it won’t be the last! Featuring NZ oysters, and NZ lamb and seafood selection, the restaurant was abuzz with happy patrons, with the curated selection of New Zealand wine from NZ Wine Navigator getting special mention.
