O’guin Decorative Arts to Debut "Décor Ice" Wall Surfacing Material at 15th Annual Designer Showcase at the International Design Center in Estero, FL

Naples-based O'Guin Decorative Arts Collaborates with designer Maxine Corbett of Richlin Interiors to create Décor Ice©, known as “bling for your walls." This will be the first time Décor Ice© is installed in Southwest Florida, and the Designer Showcase event benefits the Southwest Florida Symphony Society.

Naples, FL, February 14, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Christopher O’Guin, Vice President of Product Development for O’Guin Decorative Arts in Naples, is pleased to announce a collaborative effort with designer Maxine Corbett of Richlin Interiors. O’Guin Decorative Arts and Richlin Interiors will debut the first Southwest Florida installation of their new “Décor Ice©” wall surfacing material at the Designers Showcase being held at the International Design Center (IDC) in Estero. Corbett, the principal owner/designer of Richlin Interiors, is responsible for designing the entry and grand salon at the 2008 Designer Showcase – “The Art of Design” – which starts Monday, February 18 and runs through Sunday, March 2, 2008.

Composed of recycled safety glass beads and metallic pigments, Décor Ice© is “bling for your walls” says Cory O’Guin, one of the principals of O’Guin Decorative Arts. “Aside from being stunningly beautiful as millions of tiny prisms catch and refract the light, Décor Ice is also washable, durable, and easy to repair.”

The two-week event at the IDC includes a series of exciting workshops and seminars on a wide range of topics from designing “green” to lighting, color and more. Seminars will be hosted by experts in their field and open to the public. A preview Gala, by invitation only, will launch “The Art of Design” on Sunday, February 17th.

Tickets to the Designer Showcase are $20 and can be purchased at the IDC, through the Symphony Box Office by calling 239-418-1500 or can be purchased online at www.swflso.org/tickets. The Symphony Society is the major fundraising arm of the Southwest Florida Symphony, annually raises over $100,000 for programs including music education in schools, Young Peoples Concerts, scholarships, and free concerts.
