Neighborhood Management, Inc. Hosts New Board Member Training
Allen, TX, June 14, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Neighborhood Management, Inc. (NMI), a full-service, Accredited Association Management Company (AAMC), hosted a new board member training seminar on June 1st, 2017.
Twenty-one newly elected board members were in attendance.
This NMI-sponsored event, where attendees enjoy dinner and drinks during their learning session, is a unique opportunity among community association management companies. Neighborhood Management is one of the few companies that offer these kinds of training sessions.
This biannual event is free for NMI’s new board members, as a courtesy that shows NMI’s gratitude to them for accepting a volunteer-based position. “We go the extra mile to make sure they [new board members] are made aware of their responsibilities, current legislation regarding community associations and how we can help them,” Beverly Coghlan, President of Neighborhood Management, expressed.
The training details the HOA’s purpose of authority in a neighborhood community, as well as teaches legal obligations for HOA’s, Board of Director and Officer positions and responsibilities, the process of violations and enforcement, insurance, and finances and collections.
The training session was led by Beverly Coghlan, President of NMI, and Audrey Beard, Vice President of NMI. Beverly and Audrey both hold the highest certification that can obtained in community association management: Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM).
Neighborhood Management offers a variety of training sessions to new and existing board members throughout the year. “We greatly appreciate our board members and their willingness to volunteer their time and efforts to their communities,” Audrey Beard, Vice President of NMI, added.
