American Law Society Recognizes Walter Paramore III

The American Law Society Board of Directors is proud to announce that Walter Paramore III has been accepted as a new member with ATL distinction. The America's Top Lawyers list is comprised of well-rounded individuals representing a diverse cross-section of U.S. legal advocates.

Jacksonville, NC, June 16, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Walter Paramore III is a criminal defense lawyer who has been in practice for more than 30 years. His Jacksonville, North Carolina-based firm, Paramore Law, provides defense to both adults and juveniles accused of federal crimes, North Carolina crimes, capital murder and homicide cases, and criminal appeals and post-conviction relief.

Since 1995, Mr. Paramore has been certified as a specialist in criminal law by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. He has handled in excess of 130 criminal jury trials, eleven capital murder trials and numerous federal appeals. In fact, he is a senior member of the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Panel, which consists of attorneys in private practice who are appointed to accept federal criminal cases.

Mr. Paramore earned his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he also earned his bachelor’s degree. Thereafter he served as senior prosecutor for Craven County and Onslow County. Notably, in addition to practicing law, Mr. Paramore has imparted his wisdom onto students as an adjunct professor at Weslyan University of Rocky Mount, North Carolina from 1985-1989.
