Mike Keenan Joins TAL Global as Managing Director, Retail Loss Prevention

Campbell, CA, June 16, 2017 --(PR.com)-- TAL Global Corporation, an international security consulting and risk management firm, is proud to announce that Mr. Mike Keenan has joined its ranks as Managing Director of the Retail Loss Prevention (LP) division.

A former Foreign Counter-Intelligence Specialist with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Mr. Keenan brings with him more than 35 years of professional experience and innovation in the retail LP world.

During his long career, Mr. Keenan has managed a wide spectrum of LP divisions with major retailers throughout North America, including Macy’s, Ross, Mervyn’s, Longs Drugs and GAP. Mr. Keenan brought to each of these retailers a growing expertise and ability to implement unique solutions that contributed to substantial reductions in losses and increased employee security. He did this by growing employee involvement, accountability, and responsibility.

Mr. Keenan is confident that his expertise, together with TAL Global’s wide spectrum of additional capabilities, brings clients a unique offering of skills and experiences, spanning retail loss protection, loss control, employee ethics and safety, use of innovative technologies, and conflict and behavior management.

According to Mr. Keenan, accountability at all levels of the retail sector is the key to effective LP. “By accountability,” he said, “I mean bringing everybody into the fold: management, employees, customers, and communities. Accountability means that everybody involved with the retail experience is physically, psychologically and emotionally engaged in loss prevention.”

Mr. Keenan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) with ASIS International, a Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) and is Loss Prevention Certified (LPC). His is a licensed Private Investigator in the State of California.
