PYYROS, the Re-Invented Flashlight & Survival Tool

PYYROS is reinventing the flashlight, making it 100% modular and expandable, 100% water proof and virtually indestructible. It even includes a personal beacon locator using a dual band system to locate you anywhere on the planet in case of emergency using the 121.5MHz aviation emergency frequency and the 406 MHz digital satellite frequency.

PYYROS will redefine the flashlight industry by becoming the “swiss army knife” of the flashlight industry. Adam Nichols, a US Military veteran and avid outdoorsmen, creator of the PYYROS wanted to create a single tool that can be used in any emergency situation as well as for everyday use and for any outdoor activity. Through his experience in the military, living through a few hurricanes in the south of the United States and his experience in the great outdoors, Adam noticed that in every situation three elements are always needed; light, fire and power. PYYROS delivers these three elements, but can do so much more. We have integrate a screw driving kit, a USB recharging generator, an iodine water purifying table module and a stainless steel hammer cap. In addition, empty modules are available to customize even further the PYYROS.

PYYROS is the only flashlight in the world to be 100% modular and expandable making it possible for everyone to build a custom PYYROS, based on their needs and activities. Each device comes standard built of aviation grade aluminium T-6061 with a 1000 lumen LED flashlight, a Panasonic Lithium Ion 3400 mAH rechargeable battery which can be used to recharge any device using a USB 2.0 port in case of emergency and a stainless steel hammer cap. Everything after that can be added in modules, even custom modules for fishing, hunting, mending kits, etc.

PYYROS pushed the envelope one step further and developed the second smallest dual band Personal Beacon Locator in the world, 100% compliant with the international COSPAS - SARSAT standards. Thanks to the 121.5 MHz aviation emergency frequency and the digital 406 MHz satellite frequency, search and rescue team can locate you in case of emergency anywhere on the planet. The PYYROS personal beacon locator measures a mere 1” high by 1” in diameter and can transmit its signal during 24 hours in temperatures from -20 celcius to +55 celcius.
