24 Volt Products Now Available at Inspired LED, LLC.

Tempe, AZ, June 22, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Local lighting manufacturer Inspired LED announced this week they are releasing a series of 24 volt flexible LED strips and transformers through their online store. The addition of this new product line provides customers with a wider selection of system options, and paves the way for bigger and brighter projects in the future.

Since opening their doors in 2009, Inspired LED has carved out a niche in the market as a supplier of high-quality, easy-to-use, 12 volt lighting solutions, specializing in the design and production of LED systems for residential and commercial use. But over the years as business grew and the low-voltage industry evolved, they began to notice a change in the needs of their clientele.

“We started taking on larger projects, not just in homes, but in businesses across the country,” says Inspired LED owner, Jim Levante. “We needed a way to increase the achievable distance and brightness for longer runs of light, and found the best method was to bump up to 24 volt products.”

Voltage, as a measure of electrical potential, describes the force which causes electrons to flow through an electrical conduit. An LED strip running on 24 volts has a stronger current than one running on 12 volts, which increases the distance light can travel before dimming out. The lower the voltage, the quicker this “voltage drop” occurs.

“On long runs of light, as voltage decreases, the LEDs closest to the power supply will be much brighter than those farther away,” Levante explains. “By increasing the voltage from 12 up to 24, we also increase the distance that the power can travel before dimming out.”

What began several years ago as a creative solution for larger commercial and industrial jobs, soon grew to become an important part of the lighting business. This week’s addition of 24 volt LEDs and LED drivers to the company’s permanent product line comes as part of Inspired LED’s effort to make a larger range of options more readily available to customers.

Among the new items in stock are 24 volt flexible LED strips in three brightness levels, 240ohm, 100ohm, and 75ohm, differentiated by resistor value. Each is available in 2700K warm white or 4000K pure white.

In addition to an already wide selection of 12 volt drivers, Inspired LED now stocks a selection of 24 volt Magnitude transformers in 96 watts (E96L24DC-KO), 150 watts (M150L24DC-AR), and 300 watts (M300L24DC).
