Keller Williams is Collecting Food Items for St. Pete Free Clinic
St. Petersburg, FL, June 23, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Real estate agents of Keller Williams (KW) Realty St. Pete participated in and were changed by the company’s nation-wide annual charitable Renew, Energize, Donate (RED) Day. Keller Williams Realtors spent the day at the St. Pete Free Clinic, unloading and sorting donated food from trucks and preparing backpacks with food for children who would otherwise not have meals.
“It was such a meaningful impact that we made through donating our time and skills,” said Allison Mawhinney, Realtor with Keller Williams Realty St. Pete. “I highly encourage others to donate non-perishable food items and/or their time to help others in the community.”
Dan Hale and Krisi Moore, Realtors and co-chairs of the KW culture committee organized an ongoing food drive through the downtown KW office. Keller Williams St. Pete agents are filling barrels for the St. Pete Free Clinic weekly and invite the community to help.
“It was eye opening to see the shelves bare,” said Hale. “Many of us overlook the ongoing needs of not just our homeless but of the children who would otherwise not have anything to eat in the months that school is not in session.”
The St. Pete Free Clinic is currently seeking: rice, pasta and pasta sauce, baby food and formula, tuna fish and canned soup. Keller Williams Realty St. Pete is also collecting male and female clothing and hygiene products for less fortunate students that attend St. Petersburg high school. Keller Williams Realty St. Pete and its Realtors invite the community to help them increase donations by taking them to the St. Pete Free Clinic at 863 3rd Ave N., St Petersburg, FL, 33701.
