Walker Parking Consultants Expands to Dallas
Walker Parking Consultants has expanded its business into North Texas by opening a Dallas office.
Dallas, TX, June 21, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Walker Parking Consultants, a global parking consulting firm, has opened an office in Dallas.
While the physical location, Renaissance Tower in downtown Dallas, is new, Walker has worked with dozens of Dallas and Fort Worth clients through the years. The company has completed projects for Love Field, Fort Worth Cultural District, Nebraska Furniture Mart and TCU, among many others.
“We’re expanding into Dallas, because we see tremendous opportunities to grow our North Texas business,” said Casey Wagner, PE, chief operating officer and executive vice president of Walker. “Clients in the DFW area know us predominantly for parking design and consulting services. Walker’s other division, Walker Restoration Consultants, will also serve clients from the Dallas office. The restoration division offers specialized solutions for aging buildings, stadiums, bridges and other types of infrastructure. We think there’s a market here for our building science and forensic investigation services, as well as parking design and consulting.”
As one of its first projects, the Dallas office is overseeing a 770-car parking facility for Medical City Dallas, a long-time Walker client. The new facility will be designed to match existing campus architecture.
The Dallas office is Walker’s third Texas location. The other two are in Houston.
Walker Parking Consultants is a global parking consulting firm with 20 offices nationally and internationally. Walker has designed more than 2,600 parking structures and has consulted on more than 4,500. Recognized for its expertise, Walker literally wrote the book on parking – a textbook entitled, "PARKING STRUCTURES: Planning, Design, Construction, Maintenance and Repair."
