American Law Society Recognizes Andrew Cooper
The American Law Society Board of Directors is proud to announce that Andrew Cooper has been accepted as a new member.
Atlanta, GA, June 28, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Andrew Cooper serves as corporate counsel at United Parcel Service (UPS) in Atlanta, Georgia. His responsibilities include the management of intellectual property and procurement matters for UPS; providing legal counsel in support of corporate operations; engaging in strategic counseling and tactical negotiation; and drafting and managing vendor and customer transactions.
Mr. Cooper earned his Juris Doctor in 2012 from Emory University School of Law where he was a member of the Black Law Students Association, the Emory Mock Trial Society, and the F. Douglas Moot Court Society. Prior to law school, Mr. Cooper earned his B.A. in Economics and his B.A. in Political Science in 2009 from The George Washington University, where he was involved in a number of extracurricular academic activities including serving as the politics editor of the American Political Science Association.
Notably, Mr. Cooper has a history of volunteering in his community. He was a 2015 Epps Scholarship Fund Evaluator for the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, an instructor for Street Law, Inc., and a fundraiser for United Way of Greater Atlanta.
