MAUSER Poland Celebrates 5th Anniversary
MAUSER Group, a worldwide leading company in industrial packaging, celebrates the 5th anniversary of its factory in Gliwice, Poland. Ideally located in the industrial heartland of Upper Silesia, and operated by a strong local management team, the plant offers high-quality industrial packaging solutions and services.
Bruehl, Germany, June 29, 2017 --(PR.com)-- MAUSER Poland serves customers with a comprehensive product range of Composite Intermediate Bulk Containers (CIBCs) and plastic tight-head drums. In line with MAUSER’s global quality standards the portfolio includes transport packaging for dangerous goods UN-certified by the German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM). The favorable location of the factory enables MAUSER to supply its products to various countries in Central and Eastern Europe at reasonable transport distances. The excellent on-site storage and warehousing capabilities further add to a logistical locational advantage enabling MAUSER Poland to serve its clients at highest supply security, low transport cost and reduced transport related CO2 emissions. “We have a very skilled local team on site which drives commercial and operational excellence resulting in successive year-on-year growth,” explains Dr. Jürgen Scherer, Head of the MAUSER SBU Europe.
The opening of the factory in 2012 was a logical decision resulting from local market needs and the close relationship with large international customers that have been increasing their activities in Central and Eastern Europe. “When everyone in the region was looking for a reliable partner to source industrial packaging from, we were happy to fulfill our promise to offer best-in-class products and services. We would like to thank all our customers for their trust and support,” continues Dr. Urs Geisel, Head of Sales, MAUSER Europe. Recently, the production plant was also upgraded for food-certified packaging and meets relevant international management standards including ISO 9001 on Quality , ISO 14001 on Environment and ISO 50001 on Energy.
High on the agenda for the coming years is the further roll-out of innovative and sustainable packaging solutions to the market. Within the framework of MAUSER’s ECO-CYCLE™ approach, the aim is to offer the best technical and most effective full-lifecycle solution. “Today, the MAUSER SM® series IBC and the renowned MAUSER L-Ring PLUS are in great demand. With new products focussing on supply-chain improvements, easy reconditioning, remanufacturing and recycling, we are looking forward to taking the next steps with our customers towards a circular economy,” outlines Marcin Krzysteczko, Head of Sales, MAUSER Poland.
