Southern California Teen Indie Rock Band Joins Local Musicians Live in Encinitas Performing Music and Providing Inspiration at All Ages Show
Encinitas, CA, June 29, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Village Park, a Southern California Indie Rock band, led by local teen music duo, Luca Irvin and Nico Fabito, announced they will be performing live with their band’s debut all ages show on July 1, 2017 at UNIV Studio, 1057 S Coast Hwy 101, Encinitas, CA. The Band hopes to inspire other teens to follow their dreams of creating and performing original music. Joining Village Park are Skylar Belize, Josue Vasquez and guest rapper Nicky M. Smack.
Village Park is not only the eponymous neighborhood in Encinitas, CA where Luca Irvin and Nico Fabito grew up, it is the name of their new ambitious Indie Rock band. Luca performs lead vocals and lead guitar and has been songwriting with his friend and bandmate, Nico, for more than four years. Nico plays keys and also produces and mixes for the band and other local artists. While this is their debut performance the band has been hard at work. Village Park is known amongst local teens for their music, their colab with Nicky M. Smack (another Encinitas teen who will make a guest performance at the debut show), their graduation performance of Harry Styles’ Sign of the Times (where the entire senior class rushed the stage), and their cool t-shirts often spotted around town. The duo has worked countless hours in their studio and written more than ten original songs over the past two years. “Growing up in Village Park, Encinitas is like living in a tribe. This is where Nico and I met and we really learned music together. I am influenced by John Mayer and The Neighbourhood because listening to John Mayer inspired me to start making music and watching The Neighbourhood made me want to create a band. Nico loves everything from Oasis to Chance the Rapper. I write the lyrics, and we work really well together to create a current, unique sound,” says Luca Irvin, 18. Nico and Luca have been searching for the right opportunity for their live debut, and found just that while performing at UNIV’s open mic nights. “UNIV Studio is the perfect venue for our debut show, as a cool local place that supports Encinitas arts in an all ages environment; we share values and a passion for music,” says Nico Fabito, 18. Drummer, Palmer Turnbull, and Bassist/Guitarist, Victor Epstein, round out the talented teen group. All four band members, as well as guest rapper Nicky M. Smack and openers Skylar Belice and Josue Vazquez, are from Encinitas. Skylar’s R&B songwriter music and Josue’s guitar and and smooth vocals will move you. Round out your July 4th holiday plans and come see these talented teen artists play live. Come to meet these young musicians and enjoy the all ages performance.
