Momma Lynn Records (MLR) announces Seattle Hardcore band Millhous has begun recording their new EP, “Illiterati” at Studio Sage in Edmonds, Washington and are preparing for a Fall 2017 release.
Seattle, WA, June 30, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Momma Lynn Records (MLR) announces Seattle Hardcore band Millhous has begun recording their new EP “Illiterati” at Studio Sage in Edmonds, Washington. The band joined the Momma Lynn family of companies in 2016 and has been writing and preparing for a Fall 2017 release. “We have been eager to bring Millhous into the studio and begin the recording process,” said Momma Lynn Founder and CEO, Michael Decker. “Millhous brings another dimension to our label and we are excited to work with them”
Comprised of veteran musicians, Millhous is: Singer and Bass Guitarist, Ian “Pelon” McNamara, Lead Guitarist, Travis Kerr, Rhythm Guitarist, Edward “Zoli” Semanate, and Drummer, Barry “Vinnie Thunders” Oliva Jr.
Millhous is poised to lead the resurgence of the Pacific Northwest Hardcore Music Scene with their “High-Energy, In-Your-Face” sound. Fans from all around the region are packing into venues to see the band and are excited to learn of the new album. “Our fans support us wherever we play. I just feed off their energy and enthusiasm,” said McNamara. “Millhous is making music to help you work through your existence... no matter how loud the voices in your head get… we will always be louder!”
Momma Lynn Records has been steadily building their label this year and working very closely with Studio Sage Co-Owners Tim Sage and Francis Jaros. “As an Independent Record Label that showcases the tremendous talent of the Pacific Northwest Music Scene, we are also very proud to bring our bands and artists to Studio Sage,” said Decker. “The full-service recording studio is beautiful and fully equipped. We are fortunate to be working with Pacific Northwest Music Professionals like Tim and Francis.”
“Working with Tim & Francis is like getting two extra members in Millhous that know more than all of us put together,” says McNamara. “They let us be ourselves (for better or worse) and we hope it reflects in the music we threw down there!”
