Dr. Rayna Gangi speaks about Narcissism To Women's Group

Dr. Gangi spoke to a private group of women, mothers worried about their children and for their own safety.

"As mothers," she said, "you have a duty to protect your children and also your future grandchildren. First, you must protect and heal yourself."

"The Perfect Family, Narcissism and a Mother's Love" was released with little fanfare as the author was threatened by a man who believes he is the subject of her book.

"At first, I was going to release it under a pen name so he couldn't search for my books and find it, but that went against everything I've ever taught. I couldn't come from fear. I had to come from love, and that love is for the victims of tis insidious mental disorder, mostly women and children."
