2017 Chinese American Film Festival Made an Appearance at the Shanghai International Film Festival

Mr. James Su, Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress Interior Judicial Committee, Chairman of the Shanghai Cultural Development Foundation, Chen Dong, Director of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Cultural and Broadcasting, Yu Xiufen, President of China Film Co., La Peikang, Shanghai Municipal Committee of CPPCC, Artistic Director of Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Literature and Art, Wu Xiaoming, Party Secretary and President of Shanghai United Media Group (SUMG), Qiu Xin, Deputy Director of the Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs under Shanghai Municipal People’s Government; Chen Wenjia, Vice President of Shanghai Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Tao Yong, General Manager of China Film Co-Production Corporation, Xiaotian Miao, Head of the Producers Guild of America (PGA)’s China Task Force, Elizabeth Dell, Honorary President of Hong Kong Film Director’s Guild, Co-Chairman of Chinese American Film Festival Organizing Committee, Wu Siyuan, Head of Ruddy Morgan Organization, Co-Chairman of Chinese American Film Festival Organizing Committee, Andre Morgan and many industrial leaders from both U.S. and China, guests, and the head of film companies have all attended event and some delivered a speech.

Director of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Cultural and Broadcasting, Yu Xiufen came and supported the 13th Chinese American Film Festival Press Conference.

The co-organizer of 2017 Chinese American Film Festival Summit as well as Film & TV Market, President of China Film Co., La Peikang said that China Film Co. will continue to support and participate in the Chinese American Film Festival. Chinese American Film Festival has become an important platform to display Chinese films and to promote Chinese and American film exchange. He had witnessed Mr. Su Yintao and CAFF’s struggle and glory in the past 13 years where the Chinese and American film has went through a great development and cooperation.
