Jacksonville, FL, July 06, 2017 --(PR.com)-- The Rotary Club of East Arlington is proud to announce its 2nd Annual Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament to support Adaptive Athletes in Northeast Florida. Specifically, the funds raised will be used to purchase a much-needed service bus that will be donated the Brooks Adaptive Sports and Recreation program to transport adaptive athletes so they can enjoy sports, wellness, and fitness activities. The Rotary Club of East Arlington believes that we cannot allow a lack of transportation to stop disabled athletes from participating in life enhancing sports and recreation activities.
The tournament will be held on Monday November 6th at the Best Bet Poker Room at 201 Monument Road and will feature:
· A low buy-in of just $100
· $1000 in cash prizes
· Delicious buffet with steak and lobster and free drink tickets
· Both silent and live auctions with fantastic products, memorabilia, and experiences to bid on
· Spectator tickets (includes buffet) for just $50
By participating as a player, spectator, sponsor or promoter you are helping disabled athletes gain access to life enhancing sports and recreation activities. These activities provide many social, physical, and emotional health benefits.
