Marcus & Millichap Arranges the Sales of a 8,000 Square Foot Net-Leased Property in York, SC

The asset sold for $620,000.
Daniel Hurd, an investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Tampa office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, an individual/personal trust. The buyer, a partnership, was also secured and represented by Daniel Hurd. Raj Ravi, broker of record in Marcus & Millichap’s South Carolina office assisted in closing this transaction.
“I took on this exclusive listing after a competing brokerage firm was unable to procure a buyer during their six months of marketing. It was a challenging deal due to the very short lease term remaining and the age of the building, but I was not surprised that we were able to generate multiple offers as a result of our strategic marketing campaign. The property was ultimately purchased by an individual investor based in Texas,” stated Hurd.
Dollar General is located at 1070 Filbert Highway in York, South Carolina. The building was built to suit for the tenant in 2001 and is the 8,000 sq. foot prototype design.
