Sayers Announces Partnership with Honor Flight Chicago
Vernon Hills, IL, July 09, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Sayers Technology is pleased to announce it has selected Honor Flight Chicago as one of its supported charitable organizations. Honor Flight Chicago’s mission is to fly America’s senior war veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials that honor the service and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes. Sayers will make a check presentation at Chicago’s Midway Airport Baggage Claim #1 on July 12 at 8 p.m. to coincide with Honor Flight Chicago’s 79th flight.

One of our own, Denise Freimuth, a retired Air Force Cyber Warfare O cer, will accompany America’s Veterans on July 12th to Washington D.C.”
Honor Flight Chicago has flown more than 7,000 World War II and Korean War veterans since it was founded 10 years ago.
"Our goal at Honor Flight Chicago is to show our nation's senior war heroes the honor and thanks they deserve,” said Mary Pettinato, CEO and co-founder of Honor Flight Chicago. “This donation will allow us to fly 25 more senior war heroes for a one-of-a-kind journey and a life-changing experience.”
The veterans will fly to Washington, D.C. for a day of honor unlike anything they’ve ever experienced. The heroes will visit a collection of memorials throughout the day, including the World War II Memorial and Korean War Memorial. The return flight to Chicago features mail call, a moment when each veteran receives letters of thanks from loved ones and strangers. Upon arrival in Chicago, the group receive a real heroes’ welcome from thousands of family, friends, and volunteer patriots who show up at the airport to say, “Thank you.”
