SMP Taps TFI Envision for Blue Streak® and Intermotor® Scholarships
Long Island City, NY, July 15, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Standard Motor Products, Inc. selected TFI Envision, Inc. to develop the graphics for their Standard Blue Streak® “Stronger Than Ever” Automotive Scholarship Contest. The inaugural contest, which ran through June 30, 2017, will present two up-and-coming students with a $5,000 scholarship each. Additionally, 10 students will receive a subscription to Standard® Pro Training’s On-Demand program.
“Blue Streak has always been synonymous with premium quality. Now, with our ‘Stronger Than Ever’ contest, we hope to be known for supporting and recognizing up-and-coming technicians,” said Phil Hutchens, Vice President Engine Management Marketing, SMP. The campaign was designed to engage Automotive Technicians in the beginning of their career and to build early awareness of Standard Motor Products and their brands.
TFI Envision’s creative strategy included development of promotional materials for direct mailings to the financial aid department of the top automotive tech schools in the country, a break room poster for trade school bulletin boards as well as traditional print and digital media in aftermarket media outlets.

TFI Envision was also tapped to update the Intermotor® Import Leader Automotive Scholarship Competition materials for 2017. This is the third year of this Intermotor® Scholarship Competition.
