In any case, the steam only occurs well into the novel. It isn’t the main theme, it just sort of happens a few times after midway.’

Anthony is actually no newcomer to the quill, having already made his mark as a short story writer. Since 1994, his work has featured in magazines, summer-specials, and international writing competitions. His stories have been broadcast on radio, appeared in newspapers, and recorded by ‘Talking Newspapers’. Radio presenter, Pauline McGough, is recording a collection of his short stories for an audio CD, to be released later in 2008.
