TAG in Orange County Appoints New Controller
Justin Atneyel brings eight years of experience in the accounting field to strengthen resources for corporate outsourced accounting division and TAG Family CFO.
Newport Beach, CA, July 19, 2017 --(PR.com)-- TAG, Southern California’s premier outsourced accounting firm is proud to welcome Justin Atneyel to the team as Controller for both the corporate outsourced division and TAG Family CFO. In this role, Atneyel will work directly with clients, providing Controller-level accounting services for corporations in various industries and high-net-worth families and individuals. He will also manage a team of Staff Accountants and focus on new business development in Orange County.

Atneyel graduated Cum Laude in the top 10% of his class at Pepperdine University with a Business Management degree in Accounting. He started his career as an Accounting Manager for a general contractor, helping lead the accounting team to a successful software implementation, resulting in effective financial reporting and proper job costing calculations.
Prior to joining TAG, Atneyel was the Corporate and Financial Controller for an engineering and manufacturing firm. He worked in conjunction with the CFO and oversaw operations of the accounting and human resources department, including managing and recruiting the finance staff and designing an organizational structure adequate for achieving the company’s goals. In addition, he analyzed financial data and presented financial reports to the Board of Directors, while overseeing all reporting systems to ensure compliance with GAAP requirements. He managed the monthly cash flow and budget forecasting, resulting in net increase in over $3M and provided gross margin analysis, resulting in net profit increase of $2.5M.
As a Controller for TAG, Atneyel will work with multiple companies and the high-net-worth, providing outsourced accounting services, such as financial reporting and analysis, consolidated personal reporting, while setting up internal controls and policies and procedures to guarantee accurate and timely financial data and reporting.
