Grand Caribe Belize Thanks Everyone who Attended and Took Part in the Annual International Deepsea Classic Fishing Tournament 2017
Grand Caribe Belize extends a huge thank you to all sponsors, winner, competitors and attendees of this year's annual International Deepsea Classic Fishing Tournament.
Belize, Belize, July 22, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Grand Caribe Belize, in collaboration with the Belize Game Fishing Association and the Belize Tourism Board, hosted its first ever annual International Deepsea Classic Fishing Tournament on July 7th to 9th, 2017.
The tournament consisted of 25 teams with over 125 anglers for the three-day fishing extravaganza where they competed for $44,000 in cash and prizes. “The tournament was successful with a large turnout,” says Amy Leiva, Guest Relations Manager, at Grand Caribe Belize.
Grand Caribe Belize would like to take the opportunity to thank all the competitors who took part in the event and, in particular, congratulate the winning teams of the tournament: 1st place – Team Hard Knox, 2nd place – Team Jolly Mon, 3rd place – Team Fish Tales (Ambergris Divers), 4th place – Team Reel Challenge and 5th place – Team Mad Storme. These teams received over $37,000 in cash prizes with additional awards given in eight other categories.
Grand Caribe Belize also extends gratitude/thanks to all organizations that promoted & sponsored this event. “...we have partnered with some of the best businesses and organizations to not only offer anglers a great fishing tournament but also the opportunity to win some really great prizes and have some fun," said Leiva. Beyond Grand Caribe Belize, this tournament is supported by the Belize Game Fishing Association and the Belize Tourism Board.
