Experience Pros Broadcasts 2000th Episode While Taking the Thomas Edison Approach to Business
Aurora, CO, August 07, 2017 --(PR.com)-- On August 7, 2017, Experience Pros will broadcast their 2000th episode of The Most Positive Talk Show in America. Experience Pros is a business radio show hosted every weekday afternoon by Angel Tuccy and Eric Reamer. "We feel as if we’ve taken the Thomas Edison approach to growing a business community, and creating positive media that sticks around," says Tuccy, “We've learned lots of ways not to do this.”
Experience Pros started out as a 30-minute daily talk show on AM 560 KLZ. “When we started, we didn’t have any radio background, but Angel and I had been working together as business consultants,” says Reamer, “Our first day on the air, we were almost late for the show because we got caught in traffic, but after that first show, we both took off our headphones with the clear vision that we wanted to be national radio hosts.”
With a tagline of “changing the way people treat people in business,” the duo created a positive call in show, to change the way people talk about companies. The Experience Pros are champions for business. The concept recognizes companies offering great customer service and it’s highlighted every week during “Fan Braggin’® Fridays.” Each Friday, phone lines are opened to callers sharing great customer service stories. "This is what truly sets Experience Pros apart,” says Reamer, "giving people a public forum to lift up other businesses is something you don’t see anywhere else. Of all the mistakes we’ve made along the way, Fan Braggin’® Fridays isn’t one of them."
Experience Pros started with 5 faithful sponsors who believed in Tuccy and Reamer, and jumped in financially to support a positive business talk show that was breaking the mold of negative media. Without the continued support and organic belief from ALMC Mortgage, C Squared Computer Consulting, Frame de Art II, RMK Cartridge, Handyman Matters, Experience Pros knows they wouldn’t be on the air today.
Experience Pros made lots of mistakes along the way. They’ve attempted self-syndication multiple times, and learned a few ways to spend $1,000,000 they didn’t have. Even with their list of loyal sponsors, all small business owners themselves, it’s been an expensive endeavor to keep Experience Pros going.
"We’ve gone multiple times with being completely sold out and then down to having zero sponsors," says Tuccy, "We thought we finally made it when one corporate sponsor funded our national expansion, and we almost had to shut the whole thing down when we lost them. Instead, we decided to change our business model to create really affordable advertising packages that catered to the micro business community. The micro business community has rallied to keep us going, and we continue to find ways to serve them like no one else can."
In 2011, Experience Pros was pronounced The Most Positive Business Talk Show in America by talk show host Dave Ramsey, and also by the owner of BNI, the world’s largest business network, Dr. Ivan Misner. The Colorado Broadcasters Association awarded Experience Pros 2nd place for Best Talk Show Team. The Highlands Ranch Chamber awarded Experience Pros The Most Innovative Business Award in 2014 and Colorado Community Media has recognized Experience Pros as the Best Morning Radio Show 3 years in a row.
In 2016, Experience Pros made the move from AM 560 over to AM 1690, a brand new station purchased by Salem Media. The goal was to create Denver’s only all day business station, with Experience Pros as the morning anchor. “We were encouraged by 710 KNUS host, Peter Boyles,” says Reamer, “He told us that the morning show is the quarterback of the entire day, so for an entire year, we got up at 3:00am to set the pace.”
Partnering with BizTalk Radio, Experience Pros also has a presence in 37 more markets across the country, slowly fulfilling their dream of bringing positive talk to over 400 stations.
Hosting 2,000 shows equates to almost 4,000 of hours on the air, yet the duo never tires of coming up with new content, filling the afternoon airwaves with positive talk. “Yes, we’ve discovered lots of ways not to do things in business,” says Tuccy, "but we also learned that positivity is never a mistake."
