King of Prussia, PA, July 28, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Wayne family law attorney Lydia Terrill served as a speaker in a session titled “Baby Boomer Divorce Issues” at the 2017 Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section Summer Meeting. The panel also included PBA President Sara A. Austin, Esquire, Jeremiah W. Doyle, Esquire, and Quintina M. Laudermilch, Esquire.
Ms. Terrill’s session on Baby Boomer Divorce Issues was held on Saturday, July 14. The session offered participants a rich discussion on issues that arise for clients divorcing in their “golden years,” including the effect of divorce on estate planning, trust issues, alimony, property transfers, transfers of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, joint tax return liability issues, naming a beneficiary after divorce, deferred compensation, Social Security and Medicare issues, divorce and bankruptcy, and the effect of a spouse’s death during divorce. The session was moderated by Sara A. Austin.
The Summer Meeting was held over four days at the Omni Hotel in Richmond, Virginia. The meeting participants attended CLE sessions in the mornings, and enjoyed the sights of Richmond in the afternoon. This year, the CLE sessions generally focused on financial issues and included panels titled “Divorce Financials from A to Z,” “Conquering Executive Compensation,” “The Increasing Presence of Third Parties in Custody and Support Matters,” and “Debt, Bankruptcy, and Divorce.” Two other Vetrano Vetrano & Feinman Wayne family law attorneys, Sarinia M.
