Chincotech to Start Live Testing of Their Combined Facial & Voice Recognition Software
Chincotech the Tokyo based Facial Recognition Software Company has announced that after 14 months of lab tests of its Facial & Voice Recognition Software they will begin live field tests in October this year.
Tokyo, Japan, July 29, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Chincotech’s Head Software Development Engineer - Paul Rashford said, “We have had outstanding success with our lab tests and have achieved a 99.9% accuracy rate when combining our biometric facial and voice recognition technology.”
Rashford also said, “The biometric fusion of voice and facial recognition software is ideal for many applications with banking being a stand out one - imagine the security levels that can be achieved once passwords are eliminated.”
Chincotech has also recently updated its algorithms to improve the accuracy of its XFR8 3D facial recognition technology as a stand-alone system and also to be able to allow a smooth integration into its combined facial and voice recognition software.
Rashford also commented on the upcoming live tests, “We will be carrying out the live tests with two banking institutions where we will be testing the false accept rates (FAR) and false reject rates (false negatives or FRR) in the biometric system - although we are confident the algorithms will be able to cope with the demands of testing within a live environment and anticipate no drop on the accuracy rates of 99.9% we have consistently achieved in the lab.”
Chincotech expects the biometric voice and facial fusion recognition system to be ready for launch early in 2018 and expect it to be available on both Android and iOS devices to cover a wide range of mobile and retail apps.
