Marc-Philip Ferzan is a Senior Managing Director at Ankura Consulting based in Washington, D.C., and serves as a member of the Firm’s Management Committee. With more than 25 years of combined experience as a trial attorney, public sector leader, and consultant, Mr. Ferzan has managed complex investigations and led multi-disciplinary teams in a broad range of matters. Leveraging his deep understanding of dynamic regulatory environments and expertise in prosecuting and defending government enforcement actions, he provides investigative and compliance advisory services to private and public sector clients, and leads engagements requiring independent monitoring and reporting services.
During a distinguished career in public service, Mr. Ferzan served as a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey where he held various leadership positions, including Chief of the Commercial Crimes Unit and Acting Deputy and Executive Assistant U.S. Attorney. He is also a former Trial Attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Tax Division, and Senior Counsel with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement. In addition, Mr. Ferzan previously held an appointment as a lecturer at the University of Virginia’s Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, and served as a Fellow at the Darden Business School’s Institute for Business in Society.
