The smart power management inside MT7000 features delay turn on and off which allows users to have enough time to move this device to second power source or safely shutdown without sudden power loss from car battery. The device is also equipped with protection scheme against abnormal power conditions, such as cold crank, load dump, reverse polarity, transient voltage dip, over-voltage, over-current and random surges.
MT7000 is also CAN bus (OBD II/SAE J1939) vehicle status monitor supported. Its inside out rugged design also protects the device from shock and vibration, along with IP65 rated for water and dust protection. To be able to cope with the most challenging environment, MT7000 is tested for wide operating temperature ranging from -30° C to 60° C. Moreover, RuggON's open API/SDK support allows users to easily develop custom applications.
